How to take care of a ceramic coating?

Although a ceramic coating is very durable compared to the other ways of protecting your paint, it is not indestructible. You need to properly take care of it to get the life and performance of a ceramic coating. You may notice over time of not taking care of your ceramic coating the water isn’t beading up as well or at all. This is because the ceramic is clogged up with dirt and minerals. You should try to wash the vehicle every one to two weeks if regularly driven. It is highly recommended to not take the vehicle through a car wash because over time this will destroy the coating. The vehicle should be washed by hand with a microfiber wash mitt and a PH-neutral soap. Once the vehicle is washed it can be dried with a leaf blower or a high-quality drying towel. Once the vehicle is dried it is recommended to apply a SIO2 protectent. This protectent is like a conditioner for the ceramic coating, it will make your ceramic coating last as long as possible.
